Hetal Mamtora is the Founder and Managing Principal of Forge Legal, a search firm connecting attorneys with law firms where they can truly thrive. She helps associates and partners find the right fit while supporting firms in building strong, lasting teams.

Hetal began her legal career as a litigation attorney in New York before moving to Florida where she joined Steinger, Greene & Feiner. There, she played a key role in the recruiting process for a newly launched department. Through that experience, she not only gained firsthand insight into what firms need and what attorneys value most in their careers, but also discovered her passion for recruitment and helping attorneys find their right fit.

For Hetal, recruiting is about more than just filling roles. She takes the time to understand each candidate’s goals, strengths, and career aspirations. At the same time, she listens to what firms need and helps ensure every placement aligns with the culture and needs of the firm.

Hetal earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and her B.A. in English and Sociology from St. John’s University. She’s worked in personal injury, real estate, and family law, giving her a unique perspective on the many paths a legal career can take. 

Outside of work, Hetal enjoys doing barre, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and mentoring the next generation of leaders through her Mandir’s youth wing.
